2005 IDW continuity
Roadmaster joined up with the crew of the Vis Vitalis when the ship she was on became stranded. She served aboard the Vis Vitalis under the command of its new first officer, Firestar, due to Thunderclash's declining health. After the parasites that were draining Thunderclash of his life were discovered and disposed of, the Vis Vitalis was no longer necessary to sustain his life, and he recovered to the point that he joined the crew of the Lost Light. The Vis Vitalis was then given to Firestar to take its Camien crew back to their homeworld. Roadmaster and Proxima readied the ship for departure as Firestar and Nautica said their farewells. The Frail Gaze
After returning to Caminus, Roadmaster was among the many Camien refugees who were safely evacuated to Cybertron when Unicron attacked and destroyed their homeworld. Last Stand When Cybertron itself was destroyed, she and what remained of the Cybertronian race were teleported to Earth, arriving near Victoria Falls. Road's End
Notes
- Alex Milne wanted Roadmaster to be as big and tough as Ultra Magnus, and he briefly had designs for this bodystyle to be used as a base for a Strika design, but he decided that he wanted Strika to be bigger. Like the other new characters who debuted alongside her, Roadmaster was named by Milne.
