Syphon and Hot Rod fought together in the Forced Flood. At some point, Syphon was listed as MIA, in actuality because Censere the Necrobot used the time case to rescue Syphon from whatever fate awaited him and bring him to the future after the war (because he was listed as "missing" before Censere decided to use the time case...). - Lost Light #13 indicates that after Team Rodimus left Necroworld, the "Disappeared" Decepticons banded together and killed all Autobots on the planet. Syphon was presumably among the dead, but this is unconfirmed.
