Reversionist

The Reversionists are a faction on Cybertron, noted, and largely hated, for their piousnesses. They believe that Cybertron was once Primus, and so that every Cybertronian is in a small way Primus himself, and therefore that deceased Cybertronians ought to be cremated in a plasma pyre to return their substance to Cybertron, hence the name.

They seem to have a penchant for staffs.

A largely disliked faction, the Reversionists petitioned Orion Pax to allow one of them to speak at Brainstorm's funeral and for them to be present at the birth of a new Cybertronian. Though unsympathetic to them, Orion made the compromise, mainly so the Reversionists would not join the Ascenticons.

When the newborn was forged, the Reversionists stood among the crowd outside the Pyramid, praising Primus. While Rubble could see their viewpoint, Bumblebee scoffed that everything was mystical to a Reversionist. At Brainstorm's funeral, Ironhide noted that the deceased would be appalled to learn a Reversionist was speaking while opining that the lot of them ought to be shipped off to the most remote colony.
