Cybernite is a special metal used both in Cybertronian construction and in Transformer bodies. The only place to find it naturally occurring is on Cybertron.

The construction of the Decepticons' three space stations, Argon, Krypton and Xenon, all included cybernite, among other metals. Meanwhile when supplies of cybernite in Metroplex became low, Ratchet and Wheeljack worried that they would be unable to keep repairing the other Autobots. The Autobots attempted to salvage more from an old Transformer battlefield on Earth, however Decepticon activities led them to discover the three hidden space stations. After they fabricated a fake message and caused the three stations to crash together above Metroplex, pieces of cybernite and other useful metals began raining down around the Autobot city. Notes

• The "Cybernite Pack" was the name of the most expensive of the Founders Packs purchasable for Transformers Universe, outranking gold, silver and bronze. The logo (above) gave us the first sight of Cybernite's colour (a more bluish shade than the silver).
