[[Ultra Magnus (G1)/Marvel Comics continuity|Ultra Mammoth]] tries to assure Galvatron that with [[Ultra Magnus (SG)|Ultra Magnus]] gone, the battle is won, but Galvatron's now-weak connection to the [[Thirteen]] tells him that something-or ''someone''-wants everyone to go to Earth. As they converse, [[Spike Witwicky (G1)|Spike Witwicky]] and the Autobot [[Pretender]]s pick up a strange energy signature, one that Spike seems to remember. - Back in its debut in Crossing Over, Rarified Energon was noted to be unique in the multiverse. Now we know why: it is the lifeblood of Gaea, another (now former) multiversal singularity.

Transformers references
- Spike's abrupt declaration of 'Oh sh-' was previously uttered in full by his cartoon counterpart in The Transformers: The Movie.
- Shattered Glass Primus is based on his Cybertron body design with Unicron's Energon colors. Like Unicron in The Transformers: The Movie, he cluthches at his destroyed right eye before his final fate, as an orbiting head, mirrors Unicron's, completing the movie homage this comic arc has been.
- Gaea being the core of Classicsverse Earth is likely homaging the Aligned incarnation of Unicron, who was also the core of Earth.
