Dinger

Dinger is a member of the Jock Squad from BotBots.

Dinger, as befits his Alt-mode of a baseball, gets hit, a lot, and flies through the air, a lot. While he does enjoy this, and it makes his fellow bots happy, all that constant impact has messed with his intelligence quite a bit, but as long as Dinger can fly through the air and make his friends happy, it doesn't seem to bother him much.

Part of the third Series of BotBots, Dinger converts from a 1-inch tall soft-plastic robot into a baseball. His right hand is painted brown to resemble a catcher's mitt.

Dinger was available in one of the "Fresh Squeezes" themed 8-packs, along with Avocando, Bunches, Stringaling, Nampy, Sugar Breath, Swoonberry, and Lost Bot Fail Polish.

This mold was also used to make Love Struck.

Trivia

• Dinger was originally intended to be released in Series 1, as indicated by promotional material for the series. His bio in the Transformers BotBots Official Sticker Book still treats him as a Series 1 character, however.
