He eventually returned, but due to his nature as a War Titan immediately began attacking the tribal Cybertronians he found on his return, including those who were his crew. Eventually, after great amounts of sacrifice, [[Maccadam]] managed to defeat Iaconus, who was buried under what would one day become Iacon City.
