Fiction
2005 IDW continuity
Millions of years ago, the indigenous Devisens inhabited the "Great Lushness," their name for the many verdant forests that encircled their planet, developing a primitive civilization. This idyllic time came to an end when the Titan that would colonize the planet crash-landed on Devisiun, bringing Transformer colonists with it. The invaders, feeling the need to "save" the Devisens from their primitive existence, soon rebuilt the planet into a copy of their homeworld without any regard for the original ecosystem, driving the Devisens to the brink of extinction.
In their youth, Oiler and Slide spent time playing with a surviving pocket of natives. Another group of Devisens shared stories of the time before the "World Breaker" and its mechanical occupants had stolen their future. Time Will Rust
The species was presumably driven extinct when Unicron consumed the planet in 2018. Unstopped and Unstoppable
