The Transformers Museum (トランスフォーマーミュージアム) is a multi-day event that occurred in Japan in August 2010. It took place in the Seibu department story in Otsu between August 3 and August 8, and in the Sogou department story in Yokohama between August 10 and August 16.

The museum consisted of a series of in-store displays, including toys from every Japanese toyline, monitors showing episodes from various Transformers series including dubbed Western series, and artwork and displays from all eras of the franchise. Also on display were the Bumblebee Camaro, and large statues of movie Optimus Prime and Bumblebee, plus Animated Optimus Prime.

A black redeco of the standard Voyager Optimus Prime, Optimus Prime Black Version was available exclusively at the Japanese "Transformers Museum" event held at the Seibu department store in Otsu, Shiga Prefecture from August 3rd to August 8th, 2010. The figure was limited to 300 pieces, cost 4,200 yen, and came in a grayscale version of the original toy's box with a golden sticker on the window declaring its name.
