• IDW Publishing also produced comics for the CSI franchise. In volume 6, "Dying in the Gutters", when a murder occurs at a comic book convention, a shot of the convention hall shows an Autobot insignia prominently displayed in IDW's section. In another shot, showing CSI Stokes preventing a cosplayer (Human hands visible) from entering the convention/crime scene, the cosplayer's costume (and prop gun) seems to be based on Soundwave, but colored like Ultra Magnus or Optimus Prime. This may be an error on the part of colorist Ronda Pattison, or an accurate depiction of a TransFan dressed up as a fan-made character.
