2005 IDW continuity
Following a Transformer battle in the Indian Ocean, Talon flew the critically injured Blitzwing to the island on the orders of Joe Colton. White Heat Blitzwing was imprisoned in the depths of G.I. Joe's facility, and Colton's old war buddy Miles Mayhem oversaw his vivisection. Notes
- Governor's Island was first introduced into the IDW continuity in the third volume of G.I. Joe.
- In real life, the island's name is generally spelled without an apostrophe due to the policy of the United States Board on Geographic Names. This wiki chooses to go with an apostrophe as most Transformers appearances of the Island use that spelling.
