Maximal Mobile Base

The Maximal Mobile Base is a spaceship from the Beast Wars II portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

The MMB arrives with Santon and Skywarp and eventually becomes the Maximals' primary spaceship when the grounded Yukikaze never flies again.

The Maximal Mobile Base (サイバトロン移動基地 Cybertron Idōkichi) is a spaceship supporting Lio Convoy's Maximal crew against the forces of Galvatron's Predacons.

The Mobile Base has a small fleet of ships, including the high maneuver fighter aircraft Gaiblade (高機動戦闘機ガイブレード), the spy plane Shinied (偵察機シャイニード), the heavy bomber T-Bomber (重爆撃機Ｔボンバー), and the combat attack aircraft Juggler (戦闘攻撃機ジャグラー). Its weaponry includes the Turbo Disk and the Anchor Cannon, which, appropriately, fires missile anchors.

The Maximal Mobile Base is a toy starship than can open up into a Maximal command center playset. It features ramps and doors and includes small figurines of Tripledecus and Magnaboss. The set also includes a small fleet of micro spaceships some of which can fire projectiles.

Manufactured by Blue Box Toys, this toy is a retool of an existing toy from Blue Box Toys called Andro Base. Where the Maximal Mobile Base only just folds open to change forms, Andro Base had a (goofy) robot mode. The robot mode features were removed for the Beast Wars release.

Notes

• Beast Wars Perfect Book alternately names the Mobile Base as "Cyber Carrier" (サイバーキャリア Saibā Kyaria).
