Joseph Sorokin (March 3, 1923 - November 3, 2015) was a sound editor. He started out in the late 50s working on Steve Canyon, and during the 60s he worked on many Desilu productions, including The Untouchables, Mission: Impossible, The Lucy Show, and Mannix. He was one of three main sound editors on Star Trek, creating many of the unique sound effects on that show.[1] In 1970 he suddenly[2] moved to Atlanta, where he worked as a sale executive and passed a course at law college.
