The Novaroids and Great Novaroids are Decepticon drone warriors from the Return of Convoy portion of Generation 1 continuity family.
Avoid the Novaroid.

The Novaroid (ノヴァロイド Novaroido) and Great Novaroid (グレートノヴァロイド Gurēto Novaroido) army is made up of mindless warrior drones, typically deployed for space combat, created by Dark Nova. They fight alongside the Galaman infantry and form the bulk of Dark Nova's Decepticon military forces.

After Dark Nova stole the body of Optimus Prime, the Battlestars stormed planet Lucifer to retrieve it, fighting their way past hordes of Novaroids in the process. The Battlestars Part 4

Dark Nova then upgraded his Novaroid forces into Great Novaroids and unleashed them on Star Convoy (the resurrected Optimus Prime) and Sixliner. The pair were able to overcome the Novaroids with the help of Star Convoy's Microcarrier battle platform. The Battlestars Part 5

Later, as Grandus cleaned up the remaining Decepticons on Lucifer, Sky Garry was stuck battling a handful of Novaroids and Galaman warrior drones out in space. Sky Garry made short work of them, though they kept him from aiding Star Convoy in his battle against Super Megatron on Earth. The Battlestars special
