Mazinger Z

Mazinger Z is a super robot from the Generation 1 continuity family.

Mazinger Z (マジンガーZ Majingā Zetto) is a Super Robot created by the late scientist Jūzō Kabuto and piloted by his grandson Kōji Kabuto. Made to protect the world from the forces of evil Doctor Hell, it is filled with powerful weaponry and covered in Super Alloy Z armor.

It is powered by photon energy and is piloted from a tiny VTOL craft that docks in the head, called the Hover Pilder. Mazinger has a vast array of powerful attacks, though it's signature weapon is the "Rocket Punch", where one or both forearms are launched off under rocket power to smash through whatever stands in his way. Its second most famous attack is "Breast Fire", where the red plates on its chest fire a beam of intense thermal energy.
