- Side Swipe is an Autobot from the 2001 Robots in Disguise continuity family.
Side Swipe is part of the Autobots' Spy Changer team. He wears goggles.
Fiction
Ask Vector Prime
When Sky-Byte accidentally poisoned all of Earth's energon on Viron 1103.12 Gamma, Side Swipe and the other twelve Autobots had to downsize into Spy Changers.[1] Ask Vector Prime, 2015/08/18

- Side Swipe was one of several Robots in Disguise toys to be released as an individual in a Tiny Tins release, with a pocket-sized carrying case. The actual toy is unchanged from the two-pack version.
Notes
- Side Swipe was the first official release of a mold originally intended to be released as part of the Generation 2 Go-Bots sub-line. Owing to the name printed on the front bumper, the original identity of the mold appears to have been Rumble.
