This article is about the Decepticon that was around a long time ago. For her clone from Generation 2, see Nightracer (G2).
Nightracer is a Decepticon from the Generation 1 continuity family.
I'm just a placeholder image, honest.

We don't know much about Nightracer except that she existed long ago, faded into myth, and was later cloned, and was really, really, really good at shooting.

  • A screencap of Nightbird from the cartoon was used to represent the original Nightracer in "A Flash Forward" since her head was a close fit and the art style matched the images of Soundwave and Frenzy next to her. According to Pete Sinclair and Jesse Wittenrich, the image wasn't supposed to be recognizable as Nightbird once it was obscured by Sky-Byte, but either Sky-Byte didn't cover her up in a way that would obscure her enough, or maybe we're just that good. She's not intended to be the same character as Nightbird.
