Primus and the Golden Age were infused with Golden Power. However, in the conflict over who would control the next universe, Primacron stripped Primus of his golden body and the power that went with it, reverting him to his original "Oracle" form. Further, Megatron Omega drained the Golden Age's Starscream to become "Gold Megatron" himself! Promising to take Primus's place, he created the New Primus Vanguard of Megatrons. In response, the Golden Age pooled their power into Star Convoy to transform the Autobot hero into "Gold Primus Convoy".

Notes
- The implication seems to be that "Golden Power" was granted to the Oracle by the One as an energy separate from the Seven Lights, transforming the Angolmois Energy-being into "Primus" and that Primus later gave it to the members of the Golden Age. However, this is not explicitly stated in the comic.
