- Smerg the Sad is a member of the Fresh Squeezes from BotBots.
Smerg the Sad am what he am, and what he am is "unpopular". Spinach went out of style with cartoon sailor-men, and now he wiles away the hours, dreaming of being a popular foodstuff.

- Part of the third series of BotBots, Smerg is a redeco of Rootwing, and transforms from a spinach plant into a dragon robot.
- He is available in the blindpacked single-bot packages. He comes 1 to a case of 24, like everyone else in the assortment.
- This mold was also used to make The Weeping Dragon.
- Fresh Squeezes (8-pack, 2019)
- Series: 3
- Level: 2 Star
- He is also available in one of the "Fresh Squeezes" 8-packs, along with Avocando, Choc-O-Lawless, Mal Content, Moldwich, Quackles, Yule B. Bored, and Lost Bot Nanny McBag.
This set is a "recommended minimum buy" for a complete set of Series 3 BotBots.
Notes
- Smerg isn't exactly the most accurate depiction of a spinach plant. Shocking, we know. But spinach isn't a "tree" kinda plant, it's more a "large leaves on long stems" kinda plant. Oh well!
