USS Kidd is a destroyer in the United States Navy.
Fiction
Revenge of the Fallen film
After convincing the captain of the Stennis, Seymour Simmons arranged to have the Kidd fire her classified prototype rail gun at Devastator. The high-velocity round smashed the Decepticon's right arm to pieces, sending him tumbling down to the ground, where he broke up. Revenge of the Fallen
Notes
- While dialogue mentions USS Kidd, the ship actually shown is USS Preble. Both destroyers were part of the USS John C. Stennis carrier battle group during filming. The comic adaptation furthermore depicts the previous USS Kidd, now serving in the Navy of Taiwan.
- In the film novelization, this ship is identified as the Zumwalt and under the command of Captain Jackson.
