In the late 2000s, Phil Jimenez, in collaboration with IDW Publishing editor-in-chef Chris Ryall, pitched a comic book crossover between the Transformers and DC Comics' Justice League. Sadly, the pitch never came to fruition,^[1] likely in part due to the massive The New 52 reboot project of 2011.
Artist Jim Lee currently serves as both Publisher and Chief Creative Officer of the company, with the latter position previously held by Dan DiDio until early 2020.
