The Stasis Gun is a device that can freeze an object or person in time. It is one of the many pieces of advanced technology utilised by the time-travelling aliens.

When workers building a new ride at Disneyland discovered a buried flying saucer, the area was sealed off by police while men in black suits and scientists arrived to examine its contents. Inside they discovered many items of interest, including a Stasis Gun.
After a time-sphere trapped you four million years in the past, you were able to use the Stasis Gun to freeze yourself in time to return to the present day. Dinobot War
