*The [[bio]] accompanying Fangry's [[Tech Spec]]s states that his "tail converts to compressed air cannon that produces 200 mph gale force winds", possibly implying that at some point during the design process, Fangry was intended to come with a transforming tail piece that would become a secondary weapon in [[robot mode]]. The Marvel comic "Exodus!" interpreted this detail as allowing Fangry to transform his tail into a compressed air cannon while in [[alternate mode]], though hilariously, he has to turn his back on Grimlock to do so.

Way more impressive than Heart.

A compression cannon is a weapon that takes normally harmless air and brings it under pressure. The compressed air then becomes a potentially lethal projectile, ranging upwards to 40,000 p.s.i. (pounds per square inch) or higher. That's enough to crush a target.

Fiction

Marvel The Transformers comics

Inside the video game Multi-World, Streetwise used his air-compressor cannon to shatter Swindle and Brawl after First Aid had rendered them brittle with his decrystallizer cannon. Afterdeath!

When facing off against RAAT, Dead End used his air compression gun to blow away their electric snow. Heavy Traffic!

During a fight with Grimlock at the Central Spaceport in Ibex on a doomed Cybertron, Fangry repeatedly blasted the Autobot leader with compressed air fired from his tail. Exodus!

Toys

"Anybody want two sides of hard-hitting compressed air with their serving of justice?"

Notes

  • The bio accompanying Fangry's Tech Specs states that his "tail converts to compressed air cannon that produces 200 mph gale force winds", possibly implying that at some point during the design process, Fangry was intended to come with a transforming tail piece that would become a secondary weapon in robot mode. The Marvel comic "Exodus!" interpreted this detail as allowing Fangry to transform his tail into a compressed air cannon while in alternate mode, though hilariously, he has to turn his back on Grimlock to do so.
