Slow Poke is an Autobot Micromaster from the Generation 1 continuity family.

Slow Poke of the Monster Truck Patrol can always be counted on to follow orders to the letter... though he'll complain about it the entire time. He's bitter and ornery to the core, but not once has he let it stop him from carrying out a mission. This unwillingness to stop in the face of adversity is normally a positive, but he takes it too far... he'll keep at a losing proposition long after more reasonable 'bots would have changed tactics, even if he's taking damage (and complaining about that) the entire time.

Dreamwave Generation One continuity

Slow Poke was seen in The Burn Outs, throwing darts at a poster of those stupid guzzlers Optimus Prime and Megatron. He later watched a race between Roadhandler and Big Daddy. The Gray Race

Beast Wars: Uprising

Slow Poke served under general Hydraulic of the Micromaster 56th in Ky-Alexia during the Grand Uprising. While wrapping up their successful campaign against the Resistance Tol-Tech army, the Micromasters remarked upon the relentless Vehicon horde seen passing their position on the way to Iacon. Slow Poke transforms into a somewhat generalized 1940s truck, possibly based on an REO Speed Wagon, with oversized "monster truck" tires and a tow-hook arm mounted on the back. He was only available in a Micromaster four-pack with his teammates Big Hauler, Heavy Tread, and Hydraulic.

Slow Poke is gang-molded with his teammate Big Hauler, sharing the same plastic colors.

The Monster Truck Patrol was released in Japan with no discernible differences during Return of Convoy. However, the team did come with Micro Trailer #1.

• Slow Poke and Big Hauler's bios from the Dreamwave More than Meets the Eye encyclopedia are incredibly similar, only Slow Poke's is written from the viewpoint of team leader Hydraulic. Error or intent?
