[edit]Rose Williams was slowly dying after many years of blissful marriage. Fretting that she had ruined Jake for other women, she urged him to find someone else after she was gone. Rose was aware Jake was telepathic, and had repeatedly encouraged him to do something with it for the good of humanity. Lonesome Diesel
