TFcon (Originally called TransformersCon) is an unofficial annual convention for Transformers fans and collectors. The convention was originally created for Canadian fans who could not do the trip to Botcon in the United-States.  It is the 2nd largest annual gathering of Transformers fans in the world. (Botcon being the first)

TFcon features guests that are normally related to the creation of Transformers fiction or merchendise in one form or another.  Previous conventions have had voice actors from the animated series, artists of the comic books, actual Hasbro employees and even Karl Hartman himself, one of the co-organizers of Botcon.

TFcon/TransformersCon history
The first TransformersCon was held in Hamilton, Ontario in 2002.  Organized by Aaron Black and Colin Douglas, the convention had a modest 190 attendees.  In 2003, TransformersCon got it's first special guests in the form of Joe Ng and various members of the Dreamwave Production team.  In 2004, it got it's first convention exclusive in the form of a variant Convention Exclusive cover of Transformers #1 Vol. 3 published by Dreamwave Productions.  In 2006, the first 3d merchendise exclusive was released, a "stealth" repaint of the Cyclonus Hard Hero Bust.  In 2007, TransformersCon finally got it's first official toy exclusive,  an unlicensed downsized version of Dinobot Slag in his green G2 colors dubbed "Flamethrower" to avoid licensing problems with Hasbro.  Originally the convention was moved around Ontario, but now finds a permanent annual home in Toronto, Ontario.  As of 2008, Transformerscon is now officially called TFcon.
