The name Galvatron can refer to several different characters:
- Galvatron, rebellious creation of Unicron and Decepticon leader from Generation 1.
- Galvatron II, a Galvatron from an alternate G1 future where the Autobots were nearly eradicated.
- Galvatron, a triple-changer and Predacon Emperor of Destruction from Beast Wars II.
- Galvatron, a supercharged version of Megatron (and astounding ten-changer) from Robots in Disguise.
- Galvatron, a supercharged version of Megatron from the Unicron Trilogy. (Note that at the beginning of each UT franchise, Galvatron reverts back to "Megatron", but upgrades to "Galvatron" again before the end.)
"Galvatron" is also the title of an episode of the Transformers Energon television series, and the Japanese name of Megatron throughout Superlink (the original Japanese cartoon, which became Energon in the dub).
