[edit]After convincing the captain of the USS John C. Stennis, Seymour Simmons arranged to have the Kidd fire her classified prototype rail gun at Devastator. The high-velocity round smashed the Decepticon's right arm to pieces, sending him tumbling down to the ground, where he broke up. Revenge of the Fallen

[edit]- While dialogue mentions USS Kidd, the ship actually shown is USS Preble. Both destroyers were part of the USS John C. Stennis carrier battle group during filming. The comic adaptation furthermore depicts the previous USS Kidd (DDG-993), now serving in the Taiwan Navy.
- In the film novelization, this ship is identified as the USS Zumwalt and under the command of Captain Jackson.
