- Dinger is a member of the Jock Squad from BotBots.
Dinger, as befits his alternate mode of a baseball, gets hit, a lot, and flies through the air, a lot. While he does enjoy this, and it makes his fellow bots happy, all that constant impact has messed with his intelligence quite a bit, but as long as Dinger can fly through the air and make his friends happy, it doesn't seem to bother him much.

Notes
- "Dinger" is one of many names for a home run.
- Dinger was originally intended to be released in Series 1, as indicated by promotional material for the series and his bio in the BotBots Official Sticker Book.
- Dinger's seams are composed of two circles on either side of his body, whereas the seams on a normal baseball are a continuous pattern which creates a "horseshoe" shape not seen on Dinger. As such, it would be impossible to throw many pitches with Dinger were he a real baseball.
- Dinger appears as a prop on the exercise equipment rack at the Decepticon base in the Transformers Stop Motion Netflix Anime shorts "Virtually Reality", "Anime Attack!", and "The Bot Dance Off".
