- GT Transformers are a group from the Transformers GT portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.
GT Transformers, shortened to GTTF and sometimes known as Racing TF, is the term for Transformers who have scanned racecar alternate modes to race in the Transformers GT racing series. They have a tendency to be Matrix-carrying faction leaders and are known to come from "across time and space" to participate in the race. They also have a tendency to use the Nissan GT-R as their car of choice, for some reason. As they prefer fair competition over combat, GT Transformers seal away their true strength by splitting their power and wisdom into partners known as GT Sisters.[1]
