In Primax 208.06 Zeta, Rodimus Primal and the Wreckers were a resistance group against Obsidian's Vehicon rule of Cybertron. After the defeat of the Vehicons, Rodimus Primal formed a new High Council along with Waspscream, Icebird, and Magmatron. Ask Vector Prime, 16 August 2015

- Rodimus Primal is a canonized version of a proposed concept mentioned by Jon Hartman and Glen Hallit at BotCon 2000, of an updated version of Rodimus Prime as a redeco of Optimus Primal's Super Class Optimal Optimus toy.[1] This plan did not come to fruition, and instead Optimal Rodimus Primal's role in The Wreckers comic went to Rodimus and Primal Prime instead. Whether the canonical Rodimus Primal is an upgraded Rodimus or an independent character is unspecified and left for the reader to decide.[citation needed]
