Megatron is a human who is good at football. In fact, some might even say he's a professional football player. He may or may not have Cybertronian origins.
Fiction
Ask Vector Prime
Vector Prime speculated on Megatron's status, postulating that he could be a Pretender shell, or is destined to inhabit a Transtector body. In any case, he wouldn't be allowed in Axiom Nexus. Ask Vector Prime, 20/5/2015
Commercial appearances
Peyton Manning confused him with his Cybertronian namesake. Peyton Manning: Vacation Quarterback commercial
Notes

- This is an obvious reference to former American football wide receiver Calvin Johnson for the Detroit Lions of the NFL, who is nicknamed Megatron. This nickname was given to him by former Lions wide receiver Roy Williams and subsequently caught on with fans.
- In 2013, a Calvin Johnson-themed Megatron toy featuring his signature was sold with certain Nike shoes.
