No, it won't charge your phone. That's not how ions work.

Menasor wields a shiny ionizer sword with a charge of 50,000 volts,[1] strong enough to make short work of any imitations.

The sword can also be wielded by Menasor's component robot Motormaster, though he seems to prefer his cyclone gun.[2]

Toys

The Transformers

The Transformers Motormaster includes a chromed silver sword holdable in robot and super robot mode.

  • Menasor (Giftset, 1986)
    • Japanese ID number: D-55
    • Accessories: ionizer sword, cyclone gun, roller car/Menasor's chestpiece, Menasor's head, Menasor's hands, Menasor's feet, blast deflector
Motormaster and his accessories were also available as part of the Menasor giftset. The sword is identical to the individually-packaged release.

  • Motormaster (1990)
    • Accessories: ionizer sword, cyclone gun, roller car/Menasor's chestpiece, Menasor's head, Menasor's hands, Menasor's feet, blast deflector
Motormaster and the other Stunticons were rereleased without changes in the European/Australian-exclusive Classics reissue line.

Generation 2

  • Motormaster (Stunticon)
Motormaster was planned to be released as part of the Generation 2 toyline, but was ultimately cancelled. His ionizer sword would presumably have been redecoed along with him.

Proceed on your way to oblivion.
This item has been canceled, with no current plans for release.

Generations

  • Motorbreath (Legends Class, 2012)
This tiny retool of Reveal the Shield Legends Class Optimus Prime comes with an equally tiny sword.

Notes

  • The Dreamwave More than Meets the Eye profiles for Motormaster and Menasor both refer to the weapon as an energo-sword.
  • Combiner Wars rendition of Motormaster comes with a gun and a sword. While not named specificially, the sword can be considered as a variation/update of the Ionizer sword and the bigger sword (combined from the small sword & the gun) can have the same definition.
