Michael "Mike" Ballog is the current Brand Manager at Hasbro for the various Transformers toylines.

He's probably an okay guy, but he sure knows his marketing speak.


Also, while the style of the new series is dramatically different from the live action movie, a number of the characters and their roles within the story are similar.
