Bruce "Buzz" Witwicky is, as his name suggests, part of the Witwicky family, and the only one who has an actual job, working as a military sergeant at Burpleson Air Force Base.

Bruce Witwicky deactivated Burpleson Air Force Base's external weapons in order to help his brothers, and, by extension, the Autobots. He likely managed to escape when Heatwave arranged for the base to evacuated and destroyed by a Global Orbiting Defense Satellite. Eye in the Sky

Notes

• Bruce was originally meant to be a mirrorverse version of Sam Witwicky from the live-action movies. However, Fun Publications could not directly reference the films at the time, and so Sepelak and Troop renamed the character to thematically fit the other G1 Witwicky brothers.
