This article is about the publisher of the Armada-based Transformers PS2 game. For the Kiss Players character, see Atari Hitotonari.

Atari, Inc is a video game publisher and developer originally founded in 1972. Their Atari 2600 system was one of the first dedicated game consoles and helped popularize cartridge gaming during the medium's early days. Through a complicated path of mergers and acquisitions, including Hasbro Interactive at one point, the company is now a wholly owned subsidiary of the French Atari, SA corporation (formerly Infogrames).

In 2004, they published Melbourne House's Transformers video game based upon the Armada portion of the Trilogy.
