Animals As a cover story, Demus claimed he branched out into making Roboids when he noticed that his domestic appliances sold better when they looked like they had faces. After a series of escapades involving Equinoids and Grimlock, the Scavengers tricked Fortress Maximus into believing the Roboids' lives were in danger and fled the planet in the Weak Anthropic Principle—but not before Spinister left instructions on how to undo the damage Demus had wrought on the Roboids. They were subsequently brought aboard Maximus's ship, to be taken to a place with better equipment and repaired. Animals

The Roboids were brought to Luna 1, where Cerebros was able to use his expertise to slowly cure the Roboids one by one of their domestication. Ten to Midnight After it had proved its worth in stopping Sentinel Prime's army of Titans, Fortress Maximus sanctioned the use of Cerebros's experimental brain implant to repair the Roboids, which greatly sped up the process; once restored to their original condition, the former Roboids returned to Cybertron.
