[edit]Shortly before Soundwave's Neo-Decepticon uprising, Fang led a group of malcontents in blockading auto-artery RG1. The Wreckers' leader Kup attempted to defuse the situation but only succeeded in making things worse while above them, Spinister monitored and reported the situation back to Soundwave, who was using the distraction to knock out Autobot communication facilities.
