The Maximal Imperium is the nation-state of the Maximals on Cybertron, led by the Maximal Elders Prowl, Ironhide, and Silverbolt.

The Maximal Elders were concerned about rising strife threatening to drag the Maximal Imperium into a new civil war. They sent their aide Ikard to bring them Big Convoy.
