• Dinobot Sling (Promotional Micron, July 19 2014)

"Dinobot Micron" Sling is a redeco of Classics Nightscream, cast in clear plastic.

Sling was a campaign item exclusive in Japan to Edion toy counter, Best Denki, Yamada Denki, and Yodobashi Camera stores, free with the purchase of 3000 yen worth of Lost Age project.

This mold was also used to make Dragoyell and Universe Brimstone.

Notes

• With the other promotional Mini-Cons produced around this time being based on existing characters—particularly, Ivan, Paulie and Thunderlips are based on Dinobots Grimlock, Strafe and Slug respectively, with their names being the Rocky-based toyline codenames for those characters—it's likely Sling's color scheme was inspired by Slash. The name "Sling", however, is drawn from the Beast Wars Neo character, who had a very different color scheme.
