| The name or term "Jeffrey" refers to more than one character or idea. For a list of other meanings, see Jeffrey (disambiguation). |

Jeffrey Mangiat (born 1953) is the artist responsible for several pieces of early Generation 1 package art, including Optimus Prime, Jazz, Mirage, some of the Seekers, and the 1985 and 1986 back-of-the-box murals. He also did work for G.I. Joe, GoBots, Starcom, and ThunderCats.
After attending the Pratt Institute to study art, Mangiat began working for Hearst publications, specifically automotive renderings. Because of these he found additional work from Popular Mechanics and Popular Science magazines. His history with automotive illustration made him a natural fit for Transformers when he began doing some work for Hasbro.
