Notes

[edit]
  • Mark graduated with a degree in Broadcasting from Arizona State University and spent eight years as a sports radio producer/anchor.
  • Prior to joining Hasbro in February 2012, Mark worked at [[wikipedia:{{#if:|:}}McFarlane Toys|{{#if:||McFarlane Toys}}]] for ten years, overseeing the McFarlane’s Sports Picks brand of action figures while consulting on HALO, The Walking Dead, Spawn, McFarlane’s Dragons, and more.
  • He attended his first BotCon in Dallas back in 2012. He missed BotCon in 2013 while recovering from tongue cancer. In 2014, he contributed to the Transformers Experience panel at Universal Studios Hollywood (inducting Arcee and Rodimus into the Transformers Hall of Fame) and led the Hasbro Brand Panel as well.
  • A lifelong Transformers fan, his personal favorite characters are Prowl, Skywarp, and Grimlock.
  • He's the one who came up with the idea of Megatron becoming an Autobot in Dark Cybertron <ref>WonderCon 2014 panel with John Barber.</ref>
  • Being a lifelong fan of G.I. Joe filecards, he also wrote all of the expanded profiles included on the back of the pack-in Combiner Wars comics.
  • He moved to the G.I. Joe brand sometime before JoeCon 2015, but still came to BotCon 2015 as he had worked on many of the Transformers products that were being shown then.
