Is this how protoforms are made?

The "Transformers: Dark Of The Moon" Play-Doh Kit was released in 2011 to supplement the Transformers: Dark of the Moon franchise. The cardboard outer box was designed to serve as a carrying case, and so it has its own handle.

Circa 2017, the contents were put in new packaging that marked it as being in support of the 2015 Robots In Disguise series.
