Cristóbal Fernández (born, January 27, 1991) is a Mexican actor and former professional footballer. Prior to his acting career, he was a member of the Estudiantes Tecos Club of the Liga Premier de México, inspired by his love of the sport at a young age. A knee injury would, unfortunately, end his career in professional football. Despite his loss, he later pursued acting with the encouragement of his parents during college and later moved to London. He then later received international attention as soccer player Dani Rojas in the AppleTV+ streaming series, Ted Lasso. Other roles include a brief cameo in the mid-credits scene of Spider-Man: No Way Home as a bartender, and a role in the unreleased animated film, Scoob! Holiday Haunt.
