Synopsis

Rattrap is not exactly fond of working together with the volatile, temperamental, and violent Dinobot. He doesn't have a choice in the matter, though, as the patrol he's on with Dinobot is under orders from Optimus Primal. Rattrap is understandably terrified.

Despite his fear, Rattrap attempts to lay down the law to the slag-suckin' saurian, telling him to not act on his own. However, his courage immediately leaves him when Dinobot snarls and advances on him. Dinobot transforms to robot mode, brandishes his sword, and brings it down... on a giant snake that was sneaking up on Rattrap from behind. Touched by the gesture and having gained a newfound appreciation for Dinobot, Rattrap heads back to base with his (still somewhat foulmouthed) newfound friend.

• This story was published as the March 2023 issue of the web comic and advertised the War for Cybertron: Kingdom Dinobot and Rattrap figures.

• Dinobot debuts in this issue with a character design based on his advertised toy, as per usual.
• The giant snake that Dinobot defeats is the same one that tried to devour the Maximals in "Dark Voyage".
