In the far future, the Prime Leaders (プライムリ一ダ一 Praimu Rīdā) are the rulers of the Transformer race.

- The term "Prime Leader" seems to derive from a glossary entry in Beast Wars Universe,[1] which appears to misunderstand Optimus Primal's line in "Dark Designs" about Rhinox potentially making "one prime leader"[2] as using a proper term referring to Optimus Prime and Rodimus Prime. (Beast Wars Universe focuses on the original English version of Beast Wars, so the line is not present in the Japanese dub.)
