This article is about the IDW Generation 1 Autobot. For the Generation 2 Decepticon known as "Fireball" in Europe, see Sizzle (G2).
Fireball is an Autobot from the 2005 IDW portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.
"Actually, my name is pronounced "HA-DO-KEN."

Fireball is pretty sociopathic, as far as Autobots go. Given his appearance, he may be related to Vroom.

The Transformers

  • Vroom (Mega Pretender, 1989)
    • Accessories: "Magnetic Repeller Rifle", "Illusionizer" pistol, large wheel, small wheel, sidecar/base
Fireball was repurposed from the inner robot of Vroom.
As a Mega Pretender, The Transformers Vroom comes with a fair amount of stuff. Opening up his armored-human Pretender shell reveals the stored core robot, who turns into a Cybertronic dragster. The humanoid shell can also be transformed into a Cybertronic motorcycle. Both vehicle modes can then be combined (repositioning a few of the accessories), giving the larger shell-cycle a dragster sidecar.
