Hi-Tech, real name David Lewinsky, is a G.I. Joe member who specializes in operation support, armament research and design, and telecommunications.

2005 IDW continuity

At some point, Hi-Tech was replaced by a Dire Wraith. O Ship of State

Hi-Tech was part of the G.I. Joe unit that attacked the Transformers in Portland, Oregon. He was one of the secret Wraiths killed by Rom when the Space Knight arrived to eliminate Wraith infiltrators in G.I. Joe. Concorde Hymn

The codename Hi-Tech was passed on to Sanjay Bharwaney when he joined G.I. Joe. A Lonely Pillar on the Plain

Notes

  • Hi-Tech's original G.I. Joe filecard gave his name as "David P. Lewinski," spelled with an "I." However, the first issue of Revolution spells it with a "Y." Since that was Hi-Tech's first appearance in Transformers fiction, we've opted to use the latter spelling.
  • Hi-Tech was voiced by Mark Hildreth in the Spy Troops and Valor. Vs. Venom animated movies.
