- The Play Plexers were originally intended to be part of the sixth Series of BotBots, available in the single-pack Blind Bag Mystery Figures assortment, the five-pack assortment, and the 8-pack assortment.
- However, this iteration of Series 6 was never fully announced, and quietly canceled, with a completely different Series 6 lineup releasing in 2022.

Notes
- The squad symbols for the Gifted Guild and Play Plexers were accidentally swapped on their Series checklist. This apparently extended to the colors on the background for each squad: the silver behind the Plexers certainly matches the Guild more thematically, while the Guild's purple background color feels more playroom-esque.
