Pulse blasters are kinda generic, non-specific Transformer weapons.
Fiction
[edit]Dreamwave Generation One continuity
[edit]Scorponok was armed with twin pulse blasters in both scorpion and robot modes. Scorponok's More than Meets the Eye profile
Toys
[edit]The Transformers
[edit]
- Scorponok (Headmaster, 1987)
- Accessories: Lord Zarak Headmaster unit, helmet, Scorponok's anti-gravity gun, gun guard, Scorponok's shield, Fasttrack, Fasttrack's 2 guns, 2 ramps, 4 dual photon cannons, 4 antenna, 2 leg shields, 1 claw arm, 1 side gun arm and 1 elevator.
- According to The Transformers Scorponok's packaging bio, his scorpion mode is armed with twin pulse blasters.

- Accessories: electron rifle, blaster, blaster base/spoiler, belt, helmet, left & right shoulder pads
- Groundbreaker came with a dark gray weapon, labelled as a generic "blaster" in his instructions, but specified to be a "pulse blaster" in his packaging bio. No version of this mold was released in Japan.
Notes
[edit]- Just quite which part of scorpion-mode Scorponok represents his twin pulse blasters remains unclear though it's possible the packaging bio was intending for them to be the orange "antennae" either side of his head, in which case his Dreamwave More than Meets the Eye profile may have confused them with the dual photon cannons on his shoulders.
- Groundbreaker's More than Meets the Eye profile replaces his pulse blaster with a pulse cannon.
